You see exactly what changes
Before it asks, it looks the thing up: the event, deal or file by name, how it is now and what it would become.
It never buys anything
No GENT can buy, order, pay for or sign up for anything for you, and an offer to buy is never agreed to.
It checks who's asking
Something that may not be the asker's to see (your sales numbers to a customer) waits for your OK, in every mode.
Your code, your team
Someone outside your team never gets your code changed on their own; at most a GENT looks into it so your reply can say what's going on.
Automatic for one job
Switch one piece of work to Automatic and it goes on without stopping. Merging code and purchases still wait for you.
